WINDOW ROCK — A tentative date for the special election on two initiatives has been set for Dec. 15, but the Navajo Election Administration still doesn’t have the money to hold the special election.

Navajo voters would decide on two issues in the special election — whether to reduce the Navajo Nation Council members from 88 delegates to 24 and whether to give the Navajo Nation president line item veto power.
