GALLUP — A man died Thursday as a result of injuries sustained when his pickup was struck by a drunken driver Wednesday.

Scott Costley, 20, of Gallup, died Thursday afternoon, upping charges against 39-year-old Daryl Begay to include homicide by vehicle, a third-degree felony punishable by up to six years in prison. The statute adds four years to the sentence for each prior DWI conviction.
