ST. JOHNS — It was less than one year ago that the small town of St. Johns, Ariz., population 3,865, was thrust into the national spotlight when an 8-year-old boy was charged in the killings of his father and his father’s friend and just last month three people were charged with killing a 16-year-old.

Now St. Johns, called “The Town of Friendly Neighbors” on its official Web site, is in the spotlight again. This time, it’s for the confession of a 21-year-old man who is being charged in the murders of three local people and who may be one of the youngest serial killers in the history of the United States.
