Trike-A-Thon
GALLUP — Childcare Department of UNM-Gallup Trike-A-Thon will be 3-4:30 p.m., Oct. 7-8, at the Childcare Center on the UNMG Campus. Funds raised by the Trike-A-Thon will go to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which specializes in finding cures for and saving children from cancer and other catastrophic diseases. FORT DEFIANCE — Flu shots will be given for Dist. 17-18 residents at 6 a.m.-12 p.m., Oct. 7, at Window Rock High School Field House, Fort Defiance. Children under 18 years must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian; bring identification including name, d.o.b., s.s. number and health record number. Wear loose fitting, short sleeve clothing if possible. Vaccinations generally take place on the upper arm. Info call 928-729-8000.
