Code Talker dies
Brother of original group member dead at 88

WINDOW ROCK — Navajo Code Talker Willard Varnell Oliver of Lukachukai, Ariz., died Wednesday at the age of 88.

Oliver was in declining health for the past two years, said his son Lawrence Oliver. The Code Talker died at the Northern Arizona Veterans Administration Health Care System Hospital in Prescott.
