Chapters ask for Council reduction information

WINDOW ROCK — Two chapters want to hear from Navajo Nation President Joe Shirley before the Dec. 15 special election, Council Delegate Amos F. Johnson said.

Rough Rock and Black Mesa chapters each tabled a resolution concerning the initiatives to reduce the Navajo Nation Council from 88 to 24 delegates and to give the president line-item veto power, Johnson said.
