Special election still on tap Copyright © 2009 WINDOW ROCK — The Navajo Board of Election Supervisors decided to continue with plans for a special election to take place Dec. 15 even though no funding is in place. The board met Monday morning to decide what to do after the date to order ballots in time to meet certain deadlines passed. The ballots needed to be ordered by Friday to arrive in time for the Navajo Election Administration to offer absentee ballots in the special election.
