Norman Cogwell

FENCE LAKE — Services for Norman Don Cogwell, 73, will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 3, at Fence Lake Community School. The Rev. John Waddey will officiate. Burial will be in Fence Lake Community Cemetery.

Cogwell died Oct. 24, 2009, in Litchfield Park, Ariz. He was born May 5, 1936, in Quemado.

Cogwell started his working career at the age of 13, drilling wells with his step-dad. He served three years in the Army in Barstow, Calif. After his stint in the Army, he moved to Quemado, where he owned and operated a gas station and garage.

In 1964, Cogwell sold the gas station and moved to Phoenix, where he raised his family and began working for the City of Phoenix, until his retirement. He was very active throughout life with his family and their small farm. He joined the Church of Christ in 1984. Cogwell always put others before himself and was a very patient and understanding man.

Survivors include his wife, Rosie Cogwell of Fence Lake; daughters, Donna Pearsall of Phoenix, Sheryl Ali of Litchfield Park; six sisters; two brothers; one grandchild.

Cogwell was preceded in death by her parents, Lilly Watson, Mathw Cogwell; three sister; one brother.

Pallbearers will be Michael Pino, Chao Pino, Frank White, Bill Murdock, Greg Cogwell, Chris Gordom.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Fence Lake Community School, following services.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to West Bell Church of Christ, Sun City West, Ariz.

Ricky Lee

PINEDALE — Services are pending for Ricky J. Lee, 48.

Lee died Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009, in Rehoboth. He was born Dec. 9, 1960, in Mentmore, into the Two Who Came to Water People clan for the Black Streak of Forest People Clan.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Carolee Taliman

CORNFIELDS — Services for Carolee Ann Taliman, 38, will be 12 p.m., Monday, Nov. 2, at Sacred Heart Cathedral. The Rev. Lawrence O’Keefe will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.

Taliman died Oct. 28, 2009, in Flagstaff. She was born April 28, 1971, in Gallup, into the Mexican People Clan for the Bitter Water People Clan.

Taliman grew up in Germany from 1980-1990, then later continued her education in Flagstaff, NAU, Arizona. She was awarded numerous certificates and achievements. Taliman was to get her maters degree in medical fields, she had 2 months to graduate. She enjoyed laughing, making people happy, making friends and loving her family.

Survivors include her mother, Betty Talliman; brothers, Jesse Taliman, Jeremy Taliman; sister, Vilee Taliman.

Taliman was preceded in death by her father, Freddie Taliman; brother, Jerel Taliman; grandparents, Mary Brown, Isaac Taliman, Norbert Beepy.

Pallbearers will be Richard Mareys, Bryan Padilla, Steve Miera, Roy Kirk, Jessel Kirk, Edbert Woody.

Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

James White Body

NEW TOWN, N.D. — Funeral services for James Douglas White Body, 42, were 11 a.m., today, Oct. 31, in the New Town Civic Center. Traditional wake was 5 p.m., Friday, Oct. 30, in the New Town Civic Center. Burial was in Snowbird Chapel Cemetery, New Town.

White Body died Oct. 27, 2009, in Bismarck. He was born Oct. 1, 1967, in Minot, N.D.

White Body, formerly of Gallup, was an enrolled member of the Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation.

Survivors include his sons, James Jr., Annanias, Jimmy; daugther, Justina; parents, Wade and Jance; brothers, Titus White Body, Kevin Moquino, Todd Moquino; sisters, Cheryl Mad Plume, Eleanor Smith, Ellen White Body.
