Bluewater man faces child abuse charges Copyright © 2009 THOREAU — Cibola County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Bluewater Lake and Thoreau resident on charges of child abuse with great bodily harm last week. Detective Dominic Pargas of the sheriff’s department said Tevis Brown, 28, was arrested Friday on two counts of child abuse, with death or great bodily harm, a first-degree felony, in connection with injuries to Brown’s six-month infant.
