GALLUP — Area veterans gathered together and fell into formation for Wednesday’s Veterans Day parade.Cope Memorial Chapel handed out American flags and event programs to all bystanders and the parade started moving about 9:40 a.m. The starting point was Hillcrest Cemetery and they headed east to the courthouse.

Michael McCraith stood on the sidewalk and watched the parade. He came from Rock Springs he said, “just for the parade.”
