Thanksgiving Service

GALLUP — Gallup area ecumenical Thanksgiving service will be 5 p.m., Nov. 22, at Church of the Holy Spirit-Espiscopal, just 1/2 block west of Red Rock Elementary School. Tree Permits

ALBUQUERQUE — Permits will be available over-the-counter at Cibola National Forest offices, beginning Nov. 23, and lasting through Dec. 24. The cost is $10 per permit. Each household is limited to one permit. Up to nine additional permits can be purchased for family and friends. There is no Christmas tree cutting on the Sandia or Mountainair Ranger Districts. CHURCHROCK — Spirit Canyon Archers 3-D Archery Turkey Shoot will Nov. 22. Registration at 8 a.m., shoot at 9 a.m. 20 targets in morning, 20 targets after lunch. 1st place turkey, 2nd place ham, 3rd place award in each class.
