GALLUP — Police arrested a man for rape Friday after a naked woman ran to a gas company employee and said she was the victim, according to Gallup Police Deputy Chief John Allen.

Police arrested Angel Bravo, 31, Friday morning for allegedly raping the 28-year-old woman, whose name is withheld to protect her identity. Allen said the woman ran naked into the streets near the 300 block of Country Club Drive and told a stranger, a worker with the Public Service Company of New Mexico, that she had been raped.
