Benny Begay

TEES TOH — Burial for Benny Begay, 88, was Dec. 2, on family land, north of Second Mesa.

Begay died Nov. 30, 2009, in Phoenix. He was born Feb. 2, 1921, in Second Mesa area, into the Bitterwater People Clan for the Red Rock People Clan.

Survivors include his son, Nathan John of Phoenix; daughters, Wynona Begaye of Tucson, Martina Murphy of Silverton, Colo.; 26 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.

Jacquelyn Clark

GALLUP — Memorial services for Jacquelyn Marie Clark, 58, will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 5, at Gallup Church of Christ.

Clark died Nov. 14, 2009, in Gallup. She was born Nov. 17, 1950 in Seattle, Wash.

Clark graduated from Oklahoma Christian University, and was employed as a Special Education Teacher at Red Rock Elementary. She taught special needs children in Idaho, Texas, and New Mexico. She had a passion for teaching kids and loved her calling as a teacher. Clark was a member and minister’s wife of Gallup Church of Christ. Clark and her husband loved to travel. They traveled numerous times to Russia, where she taught English to her Russian pupils, both young and old.

Survivors include her husband, Bill L. Clark of Gallup; sons, Caleb J. Clark, Jason T. Clark, both of Albuquerque; mother, Velma Satton, of Richland, Wash.; brothers, Lester Sutton, Ronald Sutton, Richard Sutton, Randy Sutton.

Clark was preceded in death by her father, Thomas M. McCarthy.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Manuelito Navajo Children’s Home, or Life Line of Hope International.

Lovell Lambson

RAMAH — Funeral services for Lovell Arba Lambson, 90, will be 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 5, at Ramah Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Church. Bishop Jerry Tietjen will officiate. Burial will be in Ramah Community Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-4:30 p.m., today, Dec. 4, at Rollie Mortuary, and 10-10:50 a.m., Dec. 5, at Ramah Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Church.

Lambson died Nov. 30, 2009, in Ramah. He was born July 24, 1919, in Ramah.

Lambson married Dolly and settled in Ramah, and later moved to Thoreau. Lambson was drafted into the Marine Corps, and served on Okinawa until the end of World War II. After the death of his wife, Lambson moved back to Ramah and married Elsie. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He held many positions in his church including Thoreau Branch President of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.He and his wife served in the San Antonio, Texas, mission.

Survivors include his wife, Elsie; sons, Lonnie, Thomas, Burl; daughters, Vivian Nicoll, Gwendolyn Stubbs; brothers, Dilbert, George, Kay; sister, Luella Clawson; 36 grandchildren; 115 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.

Lamson was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Annie; sisters, Laura, Liddia; brothers, Marion, Almie, Leon, Alden, Gene; wife, Dolly; daughter, Lura Deanne.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Allred, Michael Lambson, Neil Lambson, Eric Brown, Jeremy Nicoll, Jason Nicoll.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ramah Water and Sanitation Board, Cemetery Fund, PO Box 416, Ramah, N.M. 87321.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Ralph Warren

GALLUP — Memorial services for Ralph L. Warren M.D., 55, will be 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 5, at First United Methodist Church.

Dr. Warren died Dec. 2, 2009, in Gallup. He was born Sept. 28, 1954, in Orange, N.J.

Dr. Warren received his A.B. from Harvard College and M.D. from Harvard Medical School. He received the Detur Prize and Phi Deta Kappa.

Warren trained at Massachusetts General Hospital, Edward D. Churchill Research Fellow in Surgery, Fellow in Cardiothoracic Surgery, United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine, Brooks Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas, distinguished graduate, Aerospace Medicine Primary, Class 91B, April 1991, United States Air Force, Air University, outstanding graduate (Distance learning), Air War College, Dec. 2006. He was a staff surgeon at Gallup Indian Medical Center, Indian Health Service and U.S. Public Health Service.

Survivors include his daughters, Maxine Warren, Madison Warren; father, Edus Houston Warren Jr.; brother, Edus Houston Warren III; sister, Ann Warren, Sarah W. Fenton.

Warren was preceded in death by his mother, Roberta Lonnsbury Warren.
