Copyright © 2009 WINDOW ROCK — Last week the Intergovernmental Relations Committee approved a memorandum of understanding which reallocated $289,912 to the Navajo Election Administration for the Dec. 15 special election and $444,315 to the Office of the Speaker for discretionary money. How the discretionary money will be used will be up to IGR, according to Joshua Lavar Butler, communications director for the Office of the Speaker.
