Ruling delayed in Shirley case

WINDOW ROCK — A decision on whether to grant Navajo Nation President Joe Shirley Jr.’s request for a temporary restraining order that would return him to office immediately was delayed Thursday because not all issues have been resolved, according to court personnel.

District Court Judge Geraldine Benally could rule on the petition as early as Friday.
