GALLUP — Motorists along Interstate Highway 40 east of Gallup endured long delays in travel time Monday after a car struck a propane tanker and the tanker overturned, dumping about 1,000 gallons of propane.

As of 7 a.m. Tuesday, the New Mexico Department of Public Safety had not released details about the cause of the crash or if anyone was injured.
