Madrid died June 6, 2008, in Gallup. He was
born Feb. 28, 1971, in Bellflower, Calif.

DEL MUERTO — Services for Isabelle Wilson,
87, will be 10 a.m. June 10, at the Presbyterian Church, Chinle.
The Rev. Danny Halwood Sr., will officiate. Burial will be in
Community Cemetery, Del Muerto. Visitation will be 9 a.m. prior
to service.
Wilson died June 6, 2008, in Chinle. She was
born Dec. 25, 1920, in Del Muerto, into the Zuni People Clan for
the Red Running Into the Water People Clan.
Wilson was a homemaker, Navajo rug weaver, she
planted crops, and a she was a sheep herder. She enjoyed spending
time with her children and grandchildren. When she wasn’t
tending sheep, she liked to bake Navajo cake and kneel down bread
to sell to her friends in the Chinle area.
Survivors include her husband, Guy Wilson of
Del Muerto; sons, Kee Chee Wilson of Del Muerto, Nelson Wilson
of Rock Point; daughter, Hilda Ben of Chinle; sister, Pauline
Halwood of Del Muerto; 13 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren;
four great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be family members and friends.
Silver Creek Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
