Ranch Kitchen fundraiser
to be murderous fun

By Elizabeth Hardin-Burrola
Staff writer

GALLUP — Murder will be on the menu at the Ranch Kitchen on Friday and Saturday, June 13-14.

“Murder at the Fund Raiser,” an interactive murder mystery dinner theater, will be staged both nights at 7 p.m. as a benefit event for Habitat for Humanity of Gallup. Local playwright Allison Dollar has written an interactive mystery which will allow dinner theater audiences to vote for plot twists throughout the evening and to determine who will be the hapless murder victim each night. Director Patrick Moore, a drama teacher at Gallup High School, and Gallup’s Murder Most Foul Players will stage the whodunit adventure.

Community members are urged to reserve their dinner tickets by this evening’s deadline as only a few tickets will be available after today. Tickets are $25 per person and include the choice of a ribs or barbecue chicken dinner, salad bar, beverage, dessert, gratuity, and the show.

Proceeds from the event will go to the local Habitat chapter as it completes its third house in Gallup this summer.
Ticket Information: JoAnn, (505) 863-3743; Audrey, (505) 863-6016; Glenda and John, (505) 722-5152.
