1 killed, 3 hurt in I-40 rollover Copyright © 2008 GALLUP A rollover on I-40 this weekend ended with one man dead. According to the incident report, Mckinley County Sheriffs deputies found open beer cans inside and around the 1994 Ford Ranger that careened off the roadway near Continental Divide about 10:45 p.m. Friday. Robert Dixon, 59, of Newcomb, who had been seated on the passenger side of the cab, was thrown from the vehicle and killed. Harry John, 48, of Red Valley, Ariz., was driving and suffered injuries to his left arm and said at the scene that he could not feel his legs. John was later transported by air to Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix. Paula Harrison, 41, and Sylvia Brown, 52, both of Farmington, were riding in the bed of the pickup. Harrison and Brown suffered no serious injuries. |
