Manuel Goodluck
LUPTON Funeral services for Manuel Charley Goodluck, 36,
will be Saturday, March 15 at 10 a.m. at Cope Memorial Chapel
in Gallup. A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Thursday, March 13,
at Amado Baptist Church. Burial will be 12 p.m. Saturday, at Sunset
Cemetery.
Goodluck died March 6, 2008.
Goodluck was a father, husband and brother.
Survivors include his wife, Jennifer; children, Breanne, Laramie,
Logan; sisters, Hilda Yellow, Violet Goodluck-Peterson, Welda
Goodluck-Barney; brothers, Benny, Tim, Lewis, Charlie.

Edison Tom
CHURCHROCK Funeral services for Edison Tom, 51, will be
10 a.m., Thursday, March 13, at Rollie Mortuary, Gallup. Reverend
Bobby Boyd will officiate. Burial will be in Rehoboth. Visitation
will be at Rollie Mortuary 3-4:30 p.m. March 12.
Tom died March 9, 2008, in Gallup. He was born Dec. 18, 1956,
in Fort Defiance, into the Two Came to the Water People Clan for
the Towering House People Clan.
Tom lived in Churchrock, and graduated from Gallup High School
in 1977. He was employed with Gallup Sales, Anasazi Traders and
First American Traders, where he retired. Tom was a stock contractor,
a bareback rider and participated in the Gallup High wrestling
team. His hobbies were spending time with his wife, grandchildren,
family and friends, reading, playing his guitar, having cookouts,
riding horses, watching his favorite t.v. shows, especially CMT
and the PBR, listening to country music.
Survivors include his wife, Ellen Carviso of Churchrock; sons,
Shelton Benally of Iyanbito, Shawn Yazzie of Churchrock, Kernivin
Carviso of Coyote Canyon; daughters, Rachael Harrison of Churchrock,
Nicole Carviso of Gallup; brother, Edmund Tom of Iyanbito; sisters,
Marie Harvey, Jancie Tom of Iyanbito, Ella Mae Dawes of Mesa;
13 grandchildren.
Tom was preceded in death by his father, Wilson Tom; mother,
Ester Jean (Smith) Tom; grandfather, Frank Smith.
Pallbearers will be Everett Tom, Emerson Livingston, Vernon Longhair,
LeAnthoney Harrison I, Kernivin Carviso, and Davie Chee.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Churchrock Chapter,
following services.

Bennie Willie
ALBUQUERQUE Funeral services for Bennie Willie, 54, will
be 10 a.m. Thursday, March 13, at Rehoboth Christian Reformed
Church, Rehoboth. Pastor Andrew Begaye will officiate. Burial
will be in the family cemetery, Two Grey HIlls.
Willie died March 7, 2008, in Albuquerque. He was born September
7, 1950, in Rehoboth, into the Red Running Into the Water People
Clan for the Mud People Clan.
Willie attended Churchrock Elementary School, Albuquerque Indian
School, graduated from CNM, Albuquerque, Wingate and Gallup High
School. He had a truck driving certificate, was a certified welder,
professional truck driver, and had many other trades. His hobbies
included cooking, traveling, playing bingo, gambling, and spending
time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Daisy J. Willie of Sundance; son,
Casey Willie of Sundance; daughters, Cassandra Willie of Sundance,
Carmelita Willie of Albuquerque, Colandra Willie of Albuquerque,
Amanda Willie of Albuquerque; step-daughter, Thelma Yazzie of
Albuquerque; brothers, Kenneth Willie of Piñon, David Willie
of Rehoboth; sisters, Nellie Lee of Sundance, Marie Buck of Sundance,
Janet Largo of Springstead; six grandchildren.
Willie was preceded in death by his father, George Willie; mother,
Bah Willie Thomas; brother, Franklin Willie Sr.
Pallbearers will be Thelma Yazzie, Cassandra Willie, Casey Willie,
Carmelita Willie, Colandra Willie, and Amanda Willie.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Two Grey Hills
Chapter House, following services.

Jimmy St.Clair
GALLUP Memorial services for Jimmy Joe St. Clair, 40,
will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 13, at Cope Memorial Chapel. Viewing
will be at Cope Memorial Chapel.
St. Clair died March 6, 2008, in Gallup. He was born June 16,
1967, in Gallup.
Survivors include his wife, Anastacia Urias St. Clair; sons,
Andrew St.Clair, Mathew St. Clair, James St. Clair, Jimmy St.
Clair Jr., Christopher Becenti; mother, Gabie St. Clair; brother,
Tommy Vigil; sisters, Sandy Peralis, Debbie Geary.
The family will receive relatives and friends at 319 E. Wilson
#18, following services.

Irma Nez
GALLUP Graveside services for Irma Marie Nez, 63, will
be 10 a.m. Thursday, March 13, at the Community Cemetery, Klagetoh.
Elvis Houser will officiate.
Nez died Monday, March 10, 2008, in Gallup. She was born May
29, 1944, in Los Angeles, into the Big Water People Clan for the
Bitter Water People Clan.
Survivors include her sons, Elvis Houser of San Diego, Thomas
Bacon of Gallup; daughters, Paula Masters of Mesa, Tammy Smith
of Mesa; four grandchildren.
Nez was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Begay; mother,
Louise Chisco.
Pallbearers will be family members.

MANUELITO CANYON Services are pending for Leon Ray Begay,
31.
Begay died Sunday, March 9, 2008, in Albuquerque. He was born
Jan. 7, 1977, in Gallup, into the Black Streak of Forest People
Clan for the Red Running into Water People Clan.

Rita Morgan
MARIANO LAKE Services are pending for Rita G. Morgan,
72.
Morgan died Tuesday, March 11, 2008, in Albuquerque. She was
born April 15, 1935, in Mariano Lake, into the White Mountain
Apache-Start of Red Streak People Clan for the Waters Edge
People Clan.
