One Man Circus coming to Gallup By Independent staff GALLUP Performer Michel Lauziere will bring his One Man Circus of Unusual Musical Comedy to Gallup next week. Lauziere musician, comedian, inventor, and fantasy artist will perform at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18 at the Gallup High School auditorium. The performance is part of the Gallup Community Concert Associations 2007-2008 Concert Series. Known for his wacky ability to blend music and comedy, Lauziere entertains audiences by bouncing around in a huge bubble, performing music with a unique horn suit, water guns, dishes, and all sorts of other odd and comic items. During his performance in Gallup, Lauzieres program is set to include The Hornophone Suit, The Dishophone, One-Man Band, Bells Orchestra, The Balloon Man, Musical Turkey Basters, Spoon-o-Phones, and Glassical Music. For 10 years, Lauziere was a straight man in a comedy duo. In 1988, Lauziere launched his solo career and has since performed in hundreds of shows in North America, Central and South America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. His performances in the United States include a hit appearance on the American Comedy Awards, one-man shows in Branson, Mo., and Las Vegas, and a recent appearance on the David Letterman Show. In addition to his musical and comedy talents, the Canadian Lauziere is multilingual and can stage shows in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, and even Japanese. Tuesdays concert is the fourth performance of the 2007-2008 Concert Series. Season tickets will be sold at the door. Each adult season ticket, available for $40, is allowed five punches. These five punches may be shared by five individuals at one concert or shared for the last two concerts for up to five punches per ticket. Student season tickets are also available for purchase.
