GALLUP — Imagine your car gets stuck as you pull into your muddy driveway and your only option is to stay in it until the ground hardens, because otherwise you’ll just get your wheelchair stuck too. You know this because this isn’t your first time in this situation. It’s your fourth.

Until recently, that was a reality for Roger Plummer, 54, of Sundance.
