Waste Collection
GALLUP — An electronic-waste and papers collection will be 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Aug. 22, at Castle Furniture, Gallup. Albuquerque Recycling, Inc. will accept the following: computers, laptop computers, computer accessories (keyboards, "mice"), monitors, copiers, printers, fax machines, computer battery back-ups / UPS units, CRT monitors, network equipment, scanners, cameras, modems, servers, phones, cell phones, gaming systems, camera batteries, stereos, VCRs and satellite dishes, LCD TVs and monitors. TVs will be taken for a $5 (cash) disposal fee. Paper materials include: Corrugated cardboard, Gray board (like cereal boxes), Card stock, white paper and white shredded paper (NO staples, paper clips, carbon, adhesvies, or colored papers), Magazines, Catalogs, and Telephone books. For the proper disposal of all other items contact City Solid Waste (863-1212) or the McKinley Citizens' Recycling Council (722-9257).
Bone Health

Summer Sale
GALLUP — RMCHCS Thrift shop summer sale til the end of Aug. Thrift shop is located on east side of Gallup, across fro VandenBosch Clinic. Hours are Tuesdays-Fridays, 12-4 p.m.
Support Group
GALLUP — Pastoral Care Department of RMCHCS sponsors a Grief Support Group for people who have suffered a significant loss through death, illness, divorce or relocation. Sessions will be each Tuesday evening 7-9 p.m., Sept. 22-Oct. 27. 6 week group is free of charge and will be at Trinity Lutheran Church. Pre-register for the group.
