GALLUP — Memorial services for Floria F. Toledo-Leekity, 46, will be 11 a.m., Monday, Aug. 31, at Knights of Columbus (KC) Hall, Gallup. Private disposition will be in Crownpoint.
Toledo-Leekity died Aug. 23, 2009,in Gallup. She was born Feb. 20, 1963, in Gallup, into the Towering House People Clan for the Red House People Clan.
Toledo-Leekity graduated from Gallup High School in 1981. She worked as management for Wendy’s and Denny’s for over 15 years. During her junior and senior year of high school she was a cheerleader.
Survivors include her sons, Fernando Baeza Sr. of Gallup, Anthony Leekity of Gallup; daughter, Danielle Leekity of Gallup; brothers, Eldon Grey of Marana, Richard Toledo of Houston, Texas, Ernest B. Toledo Jr., Floyd Toledo Sr., Duane Toledo, Pedro Toledo, all of Gallup; sisters, Alana Grey Becenti of Sundance, Ernestine Toledo of Mesa, Gwendolyn Toledo, Ernesta Toledo, both of Gallup; two grandchildren.
Toledo-Leekity was preceded in death by her husband, Duane Leekity; parents, Ernest B. Toledo Sr., Floria R. Toledo; grandparents, Charley Grey Sr. and Mabel Grey.
