Officials ordered to give testimony Copyright © 2009 GALLUP — Three current and two former members of the Gallup City Council participated in depositions Friday in relation to a civil lawsuit brought by former City Manager Eric Honeyfield. Giving depositions were Mayor Harry Mendoza, Councilors John “Jay” Azua and Allan Landavazo, and former Councilor Pat Butler. Former Councilor Bill Nechero, who, like Butler, served the city during Honeyfield’s tenure, was not deposed.
