Latino Week
FARMINGTON — San Juan College’s Office of student activities will celebrate Latino Heritage Week, Sept. 28-Oct. 1, with a variety of activities. All events are free and open to students and community. Learn to make calaveras (traditional sugar skulls for Dia de los Muertos), from 10-11:30 a.m., Sept. 29, in rooms 6109 and 6111, learning commons, with a guest speaker Erwin Rivera presents “Aztlan Sin Fronteras”, a lecture on the story of Latino indigenous roots from 1100-2100, from 2:30-4 p.m., Sun’s room 1019.
