George Canada
GRANTS — Memorial services for George M. Canada, 76, will be 4 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 11, at Cow Palace. Burial will be at a later date in Texas.
Canada died Oct. 3, 2009, in Grants. He was born March 27, 1933, in Archer City, Texas.
Canada was a life long Cowboy and worked on ranches in New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. He enjoyed camping, fishing and riding cutting horses.
Survivors include his children, Marty Canada of Grants, Dave Canada of Gallup, Troy Canada of Hillman, Tenn.; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Canada was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Jessie Canada.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grants Good Samaritan, 840 Lobo Canyon, Grants.

Edward Jameson-Money
GALLUP — Services are pending for Edward Leon Jameson-Money, 68.
Jameson-Money died Thursday, Oct. 8, 2009, in Gallup. He was born Sept. 27, 1941, in Gallup.

Adeline Montoya
MILAN — Funeral Mass for Adeline Montoya, 78, will be 10 a.m., Monday, Oct. 12, at St. Francis Catholic Church, Seligman, Ariz. Burial will be in Seligan Community Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-5 p.m., today, Oct. 10, at Compassion Mortuary.
A rosary will be recited 7 p.m., tonight, Oct. 10, at St. Vivian’s Catholic Church, Milan. A second rosary will be 7 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 11, at St. Francis Catholic Church, Seligman.
Montoya died Oct. 8, 2009, in Grants. She was born Sept. 10, 1931, in Seligman.
Survivors include her husband, Gilbert Montoya of Milan; daughter, Elizabeth Marquez of Milan; sister, Lyda Garcia of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; brothers, Sonny Casaus of Seligman, Pat Casaus of Seligman, Louise Casause of Barstow, Calif.; one grandchild.
Montoya was preceded in death by her parents, Salomon Casaus, Leonora Tachias Casaus; brothers, Steven Casaus, Walter Casaus, Joe Casaus, Clemente Casaus; sister, Gloria Casaus.

Douglas Pierson
GALLUP — Memorial services for Douglas W. Pierson, 68, will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, Oct. 12, at Tohatchi Elementary School.
Pierson died Thursday, Oct. 8, 2009, in Gallup. He was born June 15, 1941, in Gallup.
Pierson was a Gallup McKinley County Special Education teacher who worked with students at Stagecoach Elementary, Navajo Elementary, Tohatchi Middle, Tohatchi Elementary. Since his retirement, he had offered services as a Child Advocate for Special Ed students and provided assistance to families and students in the surrounding area.
Survivors include his wife, Melody Pierson of Tohatchi; children, Joshua Pierson, Julia Pierson, both of Seattle, Wash., Ezra Nye of Denver, Colo.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Heiffer International or Smile Train.
