WINDOW ROCK — The Navajo Nation Council voted to put President Joe Shirley Jr. on administrative leave with pay by a vote of 48 in favor and 22 opposed during a special session Monday.

The attorney general has up to 60 days to look into the matter and decide whether or not to ask for a special prosecutor.
