Fort Defiance WIC building is ‘off limits’ Copyright © 2009 FORT DEFIANCE — The Community Health Building, also known as the WIC building, was evacuated Nov. 9 and is closed until further notice because of potential hazardous chemical vapors from the boiler room. The Navajo Nation’s Bio-Terrorism Preparedness Program announced the closure of the building, which is near the old Indian Health Hospital in Fort Defiance, on Friday.
