Mathew Bahe

REHOBOTH — Funeral services for Mathew Jeromy Bahe, 24, will be 1 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 3, at Rehoboth Christian Reform Church. The Rev. Byker will officiate. Burial will be in Rehoboth Community Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-4:30 p.m., today, Dec. 2.

Bahe died Nov. 28, 2009, in Rehoboth. He was born Dec. 10, 1984, in Gallup, into the Bitterwater People Clan.

Bahe loved music, spending time with his family, laughing and meeting people.

Survivors include his parents, Sampson and Angie Jim; brothers, Emanuel Bahe, Edison Willie Jr; sister, Amanda Lopez.

Bahe was preceded in death by his sister, Amber Lopez.

Pallbearers will be Emanuel Bahe, family members and friends.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Rock Springs Chapter House, following services.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

David Jim Sr.

GALLUP — Funeral services for David Jim Sr., 37, will be 10 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 3, at Rollie Mortuary, Gallup. Kee and Arlinda Keyanna will officiate. Burial will be in Rehoboth.

Jim died Nov. 29, 2009, in Gallup. He was born April 21, 1972, in Gallup, into the Meadow People Clan for the Black Streak of Forest People Clan.

Jim was employed as a landscaper, heavy equipment operator and mechanic since he was 16 years old. He worked for Holiday Nursery, Sky West Development, Skanska, and WW Const.
Survivors include his wife, Trera Jim; sons, Trenton Lewis, David Jim Jr.; daughter, Denise J. Jim; parents, Bob and Tolena Jim; brothers, Elvis Jim Sr., Bob Jim Jr.; sisters, Helena Jim, Pauline Jim, Darlene Jim, Lorraine Ceja, Loretta Jim; grandfather, John Willie Mariano; one grandchild.

Jim was preceded in death by Navajo Jim, Hanasbah Jim, Alfred Jim, Billy Jim, Debah Smith.

Pallbearers will be Albert Sandoval, Ronald Jim, Martine Morales, Randy Kasuse, Ronnie Jim, Bob Jim Jr.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Churchrock Chapter House, following services.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

John Thompson

MARIANO LAKE — Funeral services for John Thompson, 84, will be 10 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 3, at Cope Memorial Chapel, Gallup. The Rev. Jones Dehiya will officiate. Burial will be in Gallup City Cemetery.

Thompson died Nov. 27, 2009, in Mariano Lake.

He was born Jan. 11, 1925, in Mariano Lake, into the Water’s Edge People Clan for the Start of the Red Streak People Clan.

Thompson retired from Santa Fe Railroad after 28 and did farm work and ranch work. He also worked and trained on carentry for ONEO-CETA.

Survivors include his sons, Larry Thompson, Patterson Thompson, Henry T. Begaye, all of Mariano Lake; daughters, Christine Clifford, Bertha Chavez, Susie Thompson, all of Mariano Lake.

Thompson was preceded in death by his wife Ella Thompson; sons, John Thompson Jr., Preston Thompson, Jerry Thompson; daughters, Linda Thompson, Voilet Thompson, Debra Thompson; parents, Chee Johnson, Martha Thompson; sister, Mae Grey.

Pallbearers will be Larry Thompson, Patterson Thompson, Gerald Thompson, Tryone Begay, LaDaniel Martin, Anthony Reeder.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Mariano Lake Chapter House, following services.

Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
