Canceled Celebration

GALLUP — The New Years Even Sobriety Gourd Dance and Powwow is canceled this year due to construction at Miyamura High School. A shoe game will be at the NCI Cafeteria, 6:30 p.m., Dec., 31.

Count-down

CANYONDAY, Ariz. — Burnette Singers invite everyone to up-coming 2010 new years eve count-down at Apache Holy-Ground Dance Ceremony, 6 p.m.-12 a.m., Dec. 31, at Burnette’s Holyground, Canyonday. Dinner will be served, free party goodies giveaways. Come dance and count down with us the new year. No open alcohol beverages on or near ceremony.
