Planning Meeting

TOHATCHI — Tohatchi planning meeting scheduled for 3 p.m., Aug. 12, at Tohatchi Chapter, has be rescheduled to 1 p.m., Aug. 17, at Tohatchi Chapter. All scholarship applicants must be in attendance at the meeting for consideration of funds. Info call 505-733-2845.

Counselor Visit

PAYSON — Veterans Benefits Counselor Visit will be 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Aug. 12, at DES PAYSON. The ADVS will be helping veterans and their dependents with information about veteran’s benefits and assistance in filing claim. The claimant should bring any pertinent information pertaining to the subject of the visit especially all VA correspondences, DD-214, medical records, marriage license, divorce decree, death certificate, birth certificates, all income award letters, medical expenses, social security cards etc.

Community Watch

School Supplies

GALLUP — Gallup Navajo Nation Program for Self Reliance will be giving out school supplies to eligible program children in Kindergarten thru 12th grade on Aug. 12, at GPSR Office 2907 E. Aztec Gallup, from 8:30 a.m.-12 p.m.
